What Private Driver is

With Private Driver, a professional driver drives your own vehicle, with the same punctuality, discretion and care as our executive service. The only difference from our other services is the car: instead of a fleet vehicle, it is yours.

What to arrange beforehand

A few precautions keep the service smooth from start to finish:

• Vehicle insurance: check with your insurer how your policy treats another driver at the wheel. Some policies require the driver to be declared or have rules for occasional drivers.
• Up-to-date documents: the vehicle registration must be valid, and the document must stay in the car.
• Car details: let us know the model, whether it is automatic or manual, and any details about how the vehicle is used.
• Route and times: share the addresses, times and planned stops, so we can plan the route.
• Start and end of the service: agree on where the driver takes over the vehicle and where it is handed back, so everything is clear in the quote.
