Transfers to Viracopos, Guarulhos and Congonhas: how to plan your departure and arrival

If you live or work in Campinas, you have three airports within reach: Viracopos, a few minutes from the city, and Guarulhos and Congonhas, in São Paulo. The flight you choose often defines the route, and good planning avoids rushing at departure and waiting at arrival.

How early to leave Campinas

The starting point is the time recommended by the airline to arrive at the airport: usually about 2 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before international flights. Add the travel time and a margin for traffic.

• Viracopos: the trip is short, but access can get busy at peak times. It is worth keeping a margin even if you live nearby.
• Guarulhos and Congonhas: the route goes through the highways and the approach to São Paulo, where traffic varies a lot throughout the day. At peak times, the margin needs to be larger.

When you book, we agree on the departure time based on your flight time and the traffic expected for that day. Our driver always arrives 15 minutes before the agreed time.

Why share your flight number

The flight number lets us track the actual landing time. At airports, the scheduled time is the landing time: the driver tracks the flight and waits as long as needed for you to disembark and collect your bags. If the flight is delayed or arrives early, the service adjusts without you having to let us know.

Arrival

After landing, there is still the time to leave the aircraft, go through immigration on international flights and collect your bags. That is why we do not schedule the pickup for the minute of landing; we follow each step instead. The meeting point is agreed when you book, and you have a direct line to Faria before, during and after the service.
